Dasra Forums: Dasra is now looking to institutionalize a team called Dasra Forums, which will anchor and orchestrate all sector-level convenings and thought-leadership platforms both in India and globally.

Role Details

Type: Full-time, Hybrid

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 6-10 years

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the execution and management of events like forums and conferences end-to-end
  • Liaising with session leads, facilitators, and other partners (including venue) to ensure smooth program design and delivery of the events
  • Crafting session programming with thorough research, speaker curation, and management
  • Anchoring the project management of various events with multiple teams and multiple stakeholders within and external to Dasra
  • Enabling partnerships for expanding the reach and impact of the events
  • Managing a team to build the mechanisms, processes, and tools for efficiency of operations and delivery

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in project management with multi-stakeholder engagement
  • Strong commitment and ability to work with a high-performing team
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Project Management: Ability to manage and deliver on this high-stakes project with quality and on-time performance, with limited support and guidance
  • Relationship Management: Engages external stakeholders with trust and confidence and is able to manage relationships towards shared goals and outcomes
  • Event Management: Ability to envision, manage, and execute events of different form and size
  • Written and Communication skills: Begins to draw linkages from content to insight and frameworks and communicates a compelling narrative with some, but minimal guidance
  • Funder Engagement: Engages funder with trust and confidence by managing funder relationships with limited support/guidance
  • Prior experience of having engaged with funders will be an added advantage
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with a willingness and ability to build systems and processes, work independently, bring structure, as well as think and act creatively in a resource-constrained environment
