About the Role

Position Title: Corporate Credit Analyst

Credit Title: Manager

  • Our team manages the credit analysis function for corporate clients globally.
  • As the bank's first line of defense, we work closely with bankers, product partners, and credit approvers to promote optimal risk-return opportunities.
  • The credit analyst will perform forward-looking fundamental credit analysis on borrowers, annual reviews, and limit renewals, supporting ad-hoc requests and periodic reviews when necessary.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients, undertaking objective detailed due diligence of borrowers/industry.
  • Manage end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings according to the bank's credit processes and procedures, collaborating with other stakeholders.
  • Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
  • Preparation of periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
  • Support Relationship Managers, Senior Credit Analysts in the department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
  • Audit management including internal, external, and regulatory inspections.
  • Ability to multitask and manage ever-changing priorities, working with high motivation and initiative, developing technical skills, and industry knowledge related to the role.
  • Ensure accurate and timely compliance with internal policies and reporting procedures.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in a bank, Global Capability Centre, asset manager, or rating agency environment.
  • Experience covering EMEA Large Corporates.
  • Good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, CapIQ, and similar systems.
