Job Description:

The role of an Application Specialist involves supporting business functions in documenting and describing application requirements. This includes developing a plan for the application's development, maintenance, and support, adhering to global IT strategy and frameworks.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with other specialists to ensure consistency and long-term governance of data. The successful candidate will stay updated on vendor updates, patches, and fixes; contribute to the development and maintenance plan for the application; and propose changes to drive business efficiency.

Additionally, the candidate will follow up on the quality, performance, and cost efficiency of the application; document and maintain records of business requirements and implementation; provide second- and third-line support; and lead the work on compliance to policies, laws, and regulations.

The Application Specialist will work closely with business stakeholders and architecture teams to propose and define the development and maintenance plan for the application. They will also approve test protocols and define the data architecture for the application based on global data architecture.

Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant area; over three years' experience using the application in scope; deep knowledge of business processes supported by the application; experience working in a multicultural organization; and experience with ITSM, ITIL, agile methods, and frameworks.
