HR Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned HR Manager to oversee our company's human resources function. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in HR and administration, preferably in IT or technology.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of labour laws, HR systems, and compliance. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to set up scalable processes in a growing company.

A proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on problem solver, the HR Manager will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related matters.
  • Leading end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition (tech and non-tech).
  • Driving onboarding, performance management, and career development.
  • Designing and implementing employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with labour laws, HR policies, and best practices.

In addition to these responsibilities, the HR Manager will also oversee office operations, facilities, and vendor management. They will manage company policies, contracts, and documentation, ensure smooth execution of travel, logistics, and procurement, and support finance coordination (payroll, reimbursements, vendor payments).

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Prior experience in an administrative and business development role is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
