Senior Legal Specialist

About the Role
As a seasoned Legal Advisor, you will provide expert counsel and strategic guidance to support the growth of our software company serving telecom operators globally.
- Lead contractual negotiations, ensure regulatory compliance, protect intellectual property, and manage risks while aligning with business objectives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate software licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, partnership contracts, and service agreements with telecom operators and other stakeholders.
- Evaluate compliance with telecom regulations, data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), cybersecurity laws, and export controls in multiple jurisdictions.
- IDentify legal risks, provide proactive advice, and support dispute resolution, including managing external counsel when necessary.
- Promote company IP protection, including software patents, trademarks, and trade secrets, while ensuring open-source licensing requirements.
- Advise on corporate legal matters, employment laws, and internal compliance policies.
- Support legal due diligence and contribute to potential M&A or strategic partnerships.
Requirements
- J.D. or equivalent law degree with bar admission in a relevant jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, or technology transactions, preferably within the telecom or enterprise software industry.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS agreements, telecom regulations, and international business law.
- Experience handling data privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property matters.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with a business-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities.
