Job Title: Jira Administrator
Description:
The role of a Jira administrator involves managing and configuring Jira environments to support project tracking issue management and agile workflows. The key responsibilities include system configuration maintenance, workflow issue management, automation scripting, and reporting dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain Jira projects workflows permissions and custom fields.
- Administer Jira user accounts and groups.
- Ensure integration with tools like PowerBI Python and Jenkins for reporting and automation.
- Create and manage issue types screens and field configurations.
- Implement and maintain custom workflows tailored to project needs.
- Track and manage review cycles using Jira for various stages such as supervisor review SME review DRA review and author rework.
- Configure automation rules for notifications transitions and field updates.
- Use scripting tools and plugins to enhance Jira functionality.
- Develop dashboards and reports for stakeholders using Jira and integrated tools.
