Strategic Social Marketing Leader

Description:

The ideal candidate is a culture enthusiast who excels in creating engaging social content and campaigns tailored to our brand's social channels. They will understand the power of community management in building brand relevance, value to followers, and driving social conversations.

A successful candidate must have impeccable attention to detail, be obsessed with innovating and improving our content strategy through testing and reporting, and be comfortable with fast-paced marketing and managing shifting priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leads on bringing our social strategy to life across all our social handles and focuses on building brand relevancy and brand love through agile and cultural social marketing.
  2. Leads on spotlighting creators that we work with and developing social activations that surprise and delight our followers.
  3. Develops a robust social media strategy to boost following and visibility across various platforms.
  4. Develops new case studies, in sync with internal stakeholders, and publishes them via different channels.
  5. Emails marketing at scale to both influencers and clients for topics of their interest.
  6. Drives one-on-one sessions with influencers on different topics on social media.
  7. Arranges meetups and meets with influencers to help build influencer relationships in a better way.
  8. Manages the one impression blogs and manages the pipeline of content that has to go live to attract audiences and publishing the same over different platforms.
  9. Manages Google Reviews and drives more reviews with influencers that we work with, and gets video testimonials from them.
  10. Makes an inventory of video testimonials and business case studies to be published on the One Impression website.
  11. Develops new initiatives and projects from time to time to market One Impression as a global brand.
  12. Identifies and defines the most important social media KPIs and monitors them regularly.
  13. Creates a monthly social media calendar with relevant special days, hashtags, and occasion-specific campaigns.
  14. Organic performance and consultation: Consistently measures the performance of each social channel, makes timely adjustments to improve performance, and works cross-functionally as an informed consultant to make relevant recommendations to editorial strategy.
  15. Studies and analyzes insights to fine-tune the social media strategy for more reach and higher engagement.
  16. Runs ad campaigns on social media platforms and optimizes them to deliver better results.
  17. Prepares and submits monthly reports to internal stakeholders, covering various parameters including performance, reach, engagement, and ROI.
  18. Keeps track of the latest trends, hashtags, and developments on social media and uses it to create content and improve overall performance.
  19. Manages and oversees the creation of high-quality content - both written and visual - for the social media platforms.
  20. Platform experience and channel ownership: Leads what the visual look and feel of each platform looks like, the tone of voice, and daily editorial optimization.
  21. Audience Strategy: Social audience evaluation and segmentation across the brand's social media presence. Identifies key cohorts of audiences and devises a 'go-to' strategy to grow and scale these groups. The strategy will include a communication strategy on how to speak to these audiences and their content preferences. Engages, retains, and grows our audience on social channels.

Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years prior experience in social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing & building relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Excited by good creativity, thrives on culture, and is inspired by smart strategy.
  2. Proven record of developing best-in-class and innovative social content.
  3. Deep understanding of how social media plays a crucial part in building a brand, and what it means to be a 'brand steward' across all lines of work.
  4. Deep knowledge of social channel best practices, social publishing tools, and social listening platforms.
  5. Ability to identify and act on relevant trends, and how they map to business goals, that could be a fit for brand/social activations.
  6. Experience working with creators/influencers.
  7. Strives to constantly optimize social content strategies through testing, learning, and reporting.
  8. Experience in developing social strategies and tactics for large, integrated campaigns for brands.
  9. Experience working with paid media teams and/or agencies to develop paid social strategies.
  10. Ability to work within tight deadlines and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives, all with meticulous attention to detail.
  11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  12. Possesses a high degree of integrity, ownership, and pride in their work, whilst having a tonne of fun.
