Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement projects in India, providing expert insight and enabling partners to mobilize their professional fields of expertise effectively.
- Lead the coordination and partnering with partner institutions, including research institutions, universities, and hospitals, as well as government agencies and international organizations in India.
- Represent the Foundation externally, building networks and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the creation of documents, such as strategic, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks.
- Participate in virtual project teams, building relationships between the NNF India Branch Office and the Novo Nordisk Foundation HQ.
Requirements:
- Over 10 years of relevant experience from research or government institutions, including government agencies, foundations, or academia, with international collaboration experience.
- A master's or PhD in biotechnology, covering applications ranging from agriculture to food and biomanufacturing, with a strong network across stakeholders working within sustainability and climate.
- Ability to be a catalyst to enable partners with subject-matter expertise to succeed, with a professional, impact-oriented, and independent approach.
- A team player, ambitious, and resourceful, with the ability to thrive in hybrid, global teams.
