Construction Site Manager

The primary objective of this position is to oversee the construction process, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and effectively. This involves direct management of on-site activities, regular inspections to guarantee compliance with safety regulations, and effective communication of project progress to team members.

Furthermore, the Construction Site Manager will collaborate closely with civil and structural engineers to ensure that project objectives are met in an efficient manner. This demands exceptional communication skills, strong quality control processes, and strict adherence to safety protocols during the construction phase.

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a solid background in on-site project management, focusing particularly on civil and structural engineering. Additionally, proficiency in utilizing AI-based project planning and scheduling tools would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directing on-site construction activities
  • Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, project requirements, and safety codes
  • Managing the preparation of site plans and specifications
  • Collaborating with architects, consultants, and contractors to coordinate project estimations and designs
  • Performing geotechnical analysis and conducting soil tests for structural foundations
  • Reporting work progress and budget matters to senior staff
Requirements:
  • On-site project management experience, focusing on civil and structural engineering
  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and stakeholders
  • Strong background in quality control processes and safety compliance in construction projects
  • Proficiency in using AI-based project planning and scheduling tools (desired)
  • Degree/Diploma in civil engineering with 2-3 years' experience as a Construction Site Manager
