  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain expertise in closure design & development for automobile OEMs.
  • Hands-on experience in the automobile domain, specifically in closure design, with a focus on design excellence.
  • Lead the design of complex systems including front door, rear door, tailgate, engine hood, and fender systems.
  • Work with various materials such as sheet metal, aluminum, extrusions, and plastic parts.
  • Manage complete project execution of closure systems from conceptualization to delivery.
  • Proficient in CATIA and PLM software's like Teamcenter; knowledge of engineering and system documents is essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive sheet metal parts, manufacturing processes, and assembly procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations of design concepts and master sections.
  • Conduct tolerance stack up and GD&T analysis, with an added advantage of supplier interaction and part development.
","Required Skills and Qualifications:","
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Automobile with 4-6 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of CATIA and PLM software's like Teamcenter.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive sheet metal parts, manufacturing processes, and assembly procedures.
  • Proficient in conducting tolerance stack up and GD&T analysis.
