About the Role:

Our team is dedicated to innovative, trusted, and pioneering solutions. We create intelligent hybrids, build driverless vehicles, and discover new energy storage methods.

This role is part of our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) team, working on state-of-the-art automated driving systems for worldwide deployment. You will support the development of the future ADAS system generation, which will see our vehicle progressing to full autonomous driving by a certain year.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong problem-solving skills and ingenuity in thinking. As a software architect, you will be responsible for high-level design and decomposition, mentoring junior SW engineers, and clearly communicating findings through presentations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Mentoring junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs
  • Creating detailed designs and supporting their implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams
  • Developing complex software to satisfy design objectives
  • Designing APIs for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations
  • Communicating effectively with global teams within our organization

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 3+ years in application design and development
  • Experience in complex automotive projects, owning responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation
  • Proficiency in programming languages like C/C++
  • Knowledge of Agile software development process and Adaptive AUTOSAR based Communication and Diagnostic stack
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns
