Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accounting professional to oversee various accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance-related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in GST, Income Tax, TDS, Tax Audit, and Statutory Audit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Auditing & Internal Controls

The role involves assisting in Statutory Audits and Tax Audits under the Income Tax Act, preparing working papers and documentation required for audits, supporting the implementation and monitoring of internal financial controls, and preparing details for Form 3CD and other tax audit-related schedules.

  • Taxation

The position requires filing Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, and companies, preparing and submitting GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), handling TDS computation, payment, filing, and issuance of Form 16/16A, and managing Professional Tax registrations and compliance.

  • Notice Handling

The candidate will be responsible for drafting and filing responses to Income Tax notices (e.g., 143(1), 139(9), etc.) and replying to GST notices, Show Cause Notices, and queries from departments.

  • Registrations & Approvals

The role involves managing GST registration and amendments for businesses, assisting NGOs and Trusts in obtaining 12A & 80G registrations, and supporting Startup India registration and related compliance.

  • Compliance & Legal Updates

The position requires ensuring timely filings and updates under GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws, processing amendments in registrations (address change, PAN updates, etc.), and staying updated on statutory changes and implementing them accordingly.

  • General Accounting Support

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, supporting in budgeting, reporting, reconciliations, and book finalization, and assisting in preparation of data for audits, assessments, and inspections.
