We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in procurement of electrical products.

The role involves handling end-to-end procurement, ensuring the right products are sourced at the right cost, on time, and as per technical requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and finalizing vendors for electrical products, preparing price comparison sheets, and negotiating for the best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases align with project needs, maintaining and updating vendor lists, developing new suppliers, and conducting vendor audits for quality assurance.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for coordinating with project/logistics teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving any delays or discrepancies.

Maintaining accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals) is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
