Procurement Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Source and procure materials, goods, and services from suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Professional certifications in procurement (e.g. CPM, CPSM).
  • Experience with procurement software and systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA).
External Interactions:

Candidates will have limited direct interaction with external parties such as vendors, clients, and government stakeholders.

Internal Interactions:

Candidates will work closely with internal teams including legal, finance, operations, and business units.

Education Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in a related field is required. A master's degree in a related field is desirable.
