Job Overview

The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial activities related to banqueting and catering operations. This includes budgeting, forecasting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and implementing internal controls.

The role requires strategic leadership and expertise in financial planning, cost control, and revenue optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hospitality finance and be able to partner with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events.

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to inform business decisions.
  • Lead the finance team to ensure timely disbursements, vendor contract management, and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Implement financial best practices, ERP systems, and audit procedures tailored to banqueting and catering operations.
  • Partner with operations and sales teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize revenue streams.

Requirements:

  • CA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent, with experience in hospitality/banqueting/catering.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of overall finance experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, compliance, financial modeling, event/catering cost controls, and Tally/SAP/hospitality ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High integrity and process orientation; experience in audit and statutory reporting.
