Job Opportunity: Marathi Translator

We are seeking a skilled translator to join our team. As an English to Marathi translator, you will be responsible for translating advertisements from English to Marathi while maintaining the original impact, tone, and brand messaging.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Marathi culture and language, as well as excellent writing and editing skills.

The job involves:

  • Translating advertisement content from English to Marathi.
  • Ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness of translated advertisements.
  • Adapting advertising copy to suit Marathi audience sensibilities without losing the intent or promotional appeal of the original ad.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate advertisement content from English to Marathi, including commercial ads, classifieds, promotional content, and display ads.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marathi Literature, Linguistics, Mass Communication, Advertising, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in translation, preferably with a focus on advertising or media.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in Marathi.
  • Familiarity with advertising language, tone, and persuasive techniques.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in basic computer tools (MS Office, Google Docs); familiarity with ad layout tools is a plus.
