Job Title: Automation Test Lead

This role plays a pivotal part in the QA process, responsible for designing and maintaining automated tests to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive test plans and maintaining automation test data to optimize testing efficiency.
  • Creating and continuously improving automated tests as new system features are developed, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Executing automated tests, managing defect logs, and validating defect fixes to maintain product quality.
  • Maintaining appropriate test environments and infrastructures to support testing needs.
  • Identifying and reporting questionable functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies to product teams, documenting results and mentoring QA engineers.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, including knowledge of defect management, bug lifecycle, performance management, and experience building automation frameworks for web-based software and mobile platforms.

Additionally, the candidate should have proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, ability to debug test failures, and trace to failing code. Strong project management skills, particularly in an Agile Scrum environment, are also required.

Effective communication is crucial, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to pitch ideas, and test new approaches.
