Cloud Data Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

In this role, you will design and build data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions
  • Migrate on-prem sources to cloud system using Microsoft Azure PaaS Services and Azure Cloud Technologies
  • Create and use ingestion pipelines, data lakes, cloud-based data marts, data warehouses, and cloud-based semantic data services layer
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 4-8 years of professional experience with working knowledge in a Data and Analytics role with a Global organization
  • 2 years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure for data services
  • Hands-on experience of developing, deploying, and running cloud solutions on Azure services like Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Lake Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Synapse
  • Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries and working with databases
  • Ability to acquire specialized domain knowledge required to be more effective in all work activities
  • BI, Data-warehousing concepts are must
  • Exposure to Azure Synapse will be good
  • Microsoft Azure Data engineer certified candidates are preferred
