About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill a key position in our organization. As an Index Reference Data Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and validating reference data, stock company and exchange information, and price-related data sets.

This is a global role that offers the opportunity to work closely with our Data Enablement Team within the Production Group. You will be part of a team that maintains and calculates S&P Dow Jones Indices.

Responsibilities
  • Research and Analysis on Market Driven Events: Ensure that the data universe is maintained in accordance with internal procedures and industry best practices.
  • Data Management: Manage reference data, stock company and exchange information, and price-related data sets.
  • Price Validation and Quality Control: Validate system-captured prices against multiple sources and research and resolve any discrepancies under restrictive timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in finance, data management, computer science, or economics disciplines. Additionally, you should possess 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field and have fluency in English, both written and spoken.

You should also have good understanding of financial markets and be able to work independently as well as in a global team environment. Familiarity with corporate filings and related documents would be an advantage.
