Lead Finance Professional


Job Description:

The role of Lead Finance Professional is crucial in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization. As a seasoned finance leader, you will be responsible for managing the finance and accounts team in a manufacturing industry setting.

 

  • Strategic Financial Management: Supervise preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, review management reports, and guide month-end/year-end closing and audit processes.
  • Treasury & Forex Management: Manage daily cash flow, monitor and manage treasury operations, and liaise with banks for cost-effective funding.
  • Taxation & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns, supervise GST reconciliation, and oversee ROC filings and FEMA/RBI compliance.
  • Audit & Risk Management: Ensure completion of stock audits, resolve audit observations, and monitor suspense accounts and bad debts.
  • Banking & Documentation: Oversee preparation and review of CMA data, QIS reports, and LC/Bank Guarantee documentation, and coordinate with banks for limits renewal.
  • Export/Import Finance: Oversee imports, manage auditor's certifications, and write-off settlements.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead and mentor the finance, accounts, and compliance teams, provide strategic financial inputs to senior management, and ensure team adherence to timelines.

Key Competencies:

 

  • Deep knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Proven experience in treasury operations and forex risk management.
  • Strong banking network and understanding of credit facilities, trade finance.
  • Ability to manage audits and ensure end-to-end financial hygiene.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
