Looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Academic Manager. As an Associate Dean, you will be responsible for supporting the Dean in managing academic, research, and extension programs.

About the Role:
  • Assist the Dean and Principal in overseeing academic and administrative functions within the faculty or institute.
  • Ensure the smooth implementation of academic programs by coordinating with departments to update curricula.
  • Supervise regularity of all academic sessions, maintaining proper decorum and quality of teaching in classes and labs.
  • Implement examination protocols prescribed by Statutory Bodies for internal exams and class tests conducted by the university.
  • Collaborate with Principals and Vice Principals to analyze department-wise teaching load and determine requirements for additional teachers.
  • Promote research activities, encouraging faculty and students to engage in research projects and publish their work.
  • Serve as a member of academic committees, providing input and guidance on agenda items related to faculty.
  • Maintain a repository of data on faculty members, including their academic credentials, professional experience, and research activities.
  • Host regular meetings with Principals and Vice Principals to identify challenges related to the teaching and learning process and examinations.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership in academic planning and coordination.
  • Develop and implement policies to enhance academic excellence.
  • Foster collaboration among faculty members, students, and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in academic administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
