Corporate Social Responsibility Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CSR principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Job Description:
    • Support the development and implementation of CSR strategies and programs in India.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including NGOs, community organizations, academic institutions, consultants, and service providers.
    • Identify potential partners for collaborative projects and funding opportunities.
    • Support the marketing and communications of CSR activities internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Grant Management:
  • Support with planning and implementation of CSR strategy, policy, and annual action plan in India that has a strong evidence-based and impact focus.
  • Pre-grant due diligence including working with NGO partners to refine CSR proposals, program designs, and budgets.
  • Lead monitoring and evaluation of grant portfolio and India CSR projects entailing programmatic and grant utilization reviews.
Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Development:
  • Support the APAC and India Leads in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Create awareness and percolate the Bank's vision for CSR philanthropy among a diverse internal stakeholder ecosystem.
Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Support with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines that govern the function's operations and activities.
  • Ensure adherence to governance structures and processes to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with India regulatory requirements.
Employee Engagement:
  • Support with employee engagement, volunteerism program in India.
  • Guide volunteer leads and event managers.

Requirements:

  • 6-9 years experience in the development sector of which at least 3-5 years should be within the Indian Corporate Social Responsibility space.
  • Strong understanding of the CSR Rules and requirements in India as per the Companies Act.
  • Adept at using technology tools such as MS Word, Excel, PPT and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communications and presentation skills.

  • Ability to connect with senior stakeholders both local and global.
