Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing: Identify and source scrap metal from suppliers, including industrial manufacturers, demolition companies, and recycling facilities.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers and buyers to maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales: Develop and maintain client relationships while seeking new business opportunities to expand our market share.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting the scrap metal industry to inform decision-making and strategy.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate scrap metal shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and environmental standards governing the scrap metal trading industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in scrap metal trading, with a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
