Senior Energy Storage Systems Manager

We seek a visionary leader to spearhead our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) division.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in energy storage technologies, system integration, and project execution, along with exceptional leadership abilities to guide technical teams and drive innovation.

  • Battery Energy Storage Systems Leadership
  • Developing BESS Projects: Conceptualization, design, development, deployment, and commissioning of BESS projects.
  • Tech Leadership: Providing technical guidance on battery chemistries, power electronics, and system integration with renewable energy and grid infrastructure.
  • Project Feasibility & Evaluation: Overseeing project feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and system sizing.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety codes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborations: Partnering with utilities, EPC contractors, and technology providers.
  • O&M Strategies: Developing strategies for O&M, performance optimization, and lifecycle management.
  • Team Management: Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.
  • Emerging Technologies: Staying abreast of emerging storage technologies, market trends, and policies to maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or related power/utility sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Track Record: Proven track record in BESS system design, integration, and commissioning (utility-scale preferred).
  • Understanding: Strong understanding of grid codes, safety standards, and energy markets.
  • Hands-On Experience: Hands-on experience with EMS, SCADA, and controls.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
