Job Title: Solar Structure Production Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Solar Structure Production Manager.

  • This is a leadership position aimed at delivering production targets while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all production activities on the shop floor to ensure timely output.

They will also supervise job placement, material flow, and stage-wise movement during fabrication and assembly.

Maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine logs, and breakdown records will also be key responsibilities.

Furthermore, they will manage in-process inventory and maintain an efficient flow across the production chain.

Collaboration with R&D and design teams for smooth onboarding of new products and structure types will be essential.

The ideal candidate will monitor production costs and resource utilization to meet predefined goals.

Enforcing strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards and driving lean manufacturing practices, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts will be crucial.

Finally, ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks and industry certifications specific to solar structure manufacturing will be a key performance indicator.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related metal fabrication industry
  • Proficient in managing production machinery, tooling, and quality control processes
  • Solid understanding of solar mounting structures and associated fabrication methods
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and production planning tools
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage shop floor teams and workflows
