About the Role

As a seasoned Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web and API testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop test automation frameworks using C# and Selenium WebDriver to ensure seamless execution of automated tests.
  • Create high-quality automated test scripts for web, API, and regression testing, utilizing JavaScript for front-end validations where necessary.
  • Incorporate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing, leveraging your expertise in Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality releases.
  • Employ Jira for efficient defect management, tracking, and reporting.
  • Design detailed test cases, generate relevant test data, and create comprehensive documentation to enhance automation coverage.
  • Identify opportunities for improving test automation and contribute to the development of the automation strategy and roadmap.
  • Ensure that test scripts are reliable, maintainable, and reusable, providing valuable feedback on software design and user experience from a testability perspective.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, particularly with Selenium WebDriver for UI test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript for automation scripting and front-end testing.
  • Familiarity with Jira for defect tracking and Agile project management.
  • Detailed understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of API testing (REST/Soap) and tools like Postman or RestSharp.
  • Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
