Skilled Welder

Job Title: Skilled Welder

• This role is seeking an experienced TIG and ARC welder to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Minimum 3-4 years' experience in oil and gas field with similar experience.
2. First preference will be given if the welder is carrying Aramco welder approval card.
3. Should have been qualified in accordance with ASME Sec.IX AWS D1.1 or Equivalent.
4. Should be having a valid qualification card.
5. Should be qualified in SMAW & GTAW.
6. Correct selection of electrodes & filler metals for CS. SS & alloy steels (Ex: E7018, E6010, ER308, ER316).
7. Joint preparation (beveling, root gap, cleaning)
8. Techniques for vertical, horizontal, overhead and 6G positions.
9. Should be able to read the WPS and follow the parameters provided in it.
10. Knowledge on consumables as given in WPS and their handling procedure.
11. Ensure proper cleaning of weld area before starting welding.
12. Should follow the weld sequence to avoid distortion of joint.
13. Rectifies defects identified by inspection personnel.
14. Ensures his ID is marked near the joint for traceability.
15. Liaise with QC to complete the required NDT
16. Ensures proper cutting plan is made to minimize wastage.
17. All candidates should have experience in ARAMCO Projects.
