Job Overview

The Enterprise Risk Manager plays a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating operational risks across various departments. This involves developing risk assessment frameworks, conducting regular risk assessments, and implementing risk controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Identification: Identify and evaluate operational risks, develop risk assessment frameworks, and conduct regular risk assessments.
  • Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensure implementation of risk controls, and coordinate with teams to address risk issues.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor operational risk indicators, prepare and present risk reports, and manage regular Risk meetings.
  • Third Party Risk Management: Manage third parties, identify potential risks associated with third-party interactions, and gather information security controls evidence.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and updating of operational risk policies and procedures.
  • System Testing: Conduct UAT for ORM development and implementation, maintain business continuity management program, and oversee testing.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements and liaison with regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in management, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a risk management role, preferably in an NBFC or financial services environment.

Essential Skills:

  • Operational risk and knowledge of operational risk management framework.
  • Risk identification, risk monitoring, risk mitigation, risk reporting techniques, and systems.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, PowerBI or other data visualization tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Operational Risk in Lending domain, strong analytical aptitude, logical reasoning ability, and strong presentation and communication skills.
