About This Role

This position is for a skilled data scientist who can drive core product metrics, develop analyses and experiments, and design A/B tests to turn results into actionable product decisions within the same week.

  • We are looking for someone with solid fundamentals in statistics, SQL, and Python, along with projects they're proud to showcase.
  • The ideal candidate will iterate fast, framing questions, testing, and shipping results in days, while prioritizing clarity of communication as much as statistical significance.
  • Curiosity about LLM evaluation, retrieval, and ranking is a plus; you'll learn alongside experts who have shipped at top tech companies.
Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement analyses and experiments that drive core product metrics, including match quality, time-to-hire, candidate experience, and revenue.
  2. Design and run A/B tests and quasi-experiments to turn results into actionable product decisions within the same week.
  3. Create source-of-truth dashboards and lightweight data models to enable self-service for teams.
  4. Instrument events with engineers to improve data quality and latency from ingestion to insight.
  5. Prototype quick models to enhance matching and scoring.
  6. Evaluate LLM-powered agents by designing rubrics, conducting human-in-the-loop studies, and implementing guardrail canaries.
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience in data science/analytics or related fields, with a BS/BA in a quantitative field (or equivalent work).
  • Strong SQL skills, proficiency in Python for analysis, and comfort with experiment design and causal thinking.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with engineers, PMs, and leadership, distilling analysis into actionable insights.
  • Nice-to-haves: dbt, dashboarding tools, marketplace or search/recommendation metrics, LLM/agent evaluation.
