Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

Job Summary:

Cyber security specialists are responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive security plans to protect an organization's digital assets. This includes planning, designing, and deploying secure software and web applications.

  • Plan and design new software and web applications with a focus on security.
  • Edit and update existing applications to ensure they meet the latest security standards.
  • Implement, test, and debug defined software components to ensure they operate securely.
  • Document all development activity to maintain transparency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and support identity systems with a strong preference for expertise in Azure AD and PingFederate.
  2. Integrate applications using standards such as SAML/OpenID Connect.
  3. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve project/task completion.
  4. Manage infrastructure, including patching and vulnerability management.
  5. Troubleshoot, manage, and solve complex technical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Strong experience with SiteMinder, Ping, Azure, and DUO.
  2. Authentication services and standards around SSO.
  3. Experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
  4. Experience troubleshooting federation and authentication issues.
  5. Security best practices for Windows-based and Linux-based systems.
