Senior Software Development Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing software components and modules for automotive SoC platforms.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Define the software architecture: Define and architect the software framework for automotive SoC systems, considering performance, power efficiency, and safety-critical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software architecture with hardware design and automotive standards.
• Lead the design and development: Lead the design and development of software components and modules for automotive SoC platforms.
• Implement software solutions: Implement software solutions in compliance with industry standards such as ISO 26262.
• Optimize software performance: Optimize software performance for real-time constraints and resource efficiency.
• Conduct performance analysis: Conduct performance analysis and propose enhancements to meet automotive industry standards.
• Support Intellectual Property activities: Support Intellectual Property activities and generate Invention Disclosure Memos to facilitate patent applications.
• Contribute to design reviews: Contribute to design reviews across algorithm teams.
• Consider next generation algorithms: Consider next generation algorithms and new business opportunities.
• Develop algorithms: Develop algorithms with a view to implementing on embedded DSP platforms.
• Represent the company at Industry Working Groups: Represent the company at various Industry Working Groups and at Conferences where directed.
• Support the design and implementation: Support the design and implementation of in-company training sessions in your area of expertise.
• Develop and maintain relationship: Develop and maintain relationship with university counterparts.
• Strive to improve competencies: Strive to improve competencies in the field of automotive vision based ADAS, Computer vision and C++ in particular.
• Identify inefficiencies and suggest/implement improvements: Identify inefficiencies and suggest/implement improvements within the current processes used in algorithm, development. Perform state-of-the-art research into deep learning & Computer vision approaches and methodologies. Creation of initial high-level module and sub-module architecture at project kick-off as well as pre-dev projects. Provide expertise to algorithm and embedded leads in the design of all the CV/DL functions.
• Research, develop, benchmark, test and document: Research, develop, benchmark, test and document state of the art computer vision and image processing algorithms for autonomous driving applications within your assigned project team.
• Perform research into new vision technology: Perform research into new vision technology, ideas, and approaches.
• Ensure the software architecture meets safety and security standards: Ensure the software architecture meets safety and security standards relevant to automotive systems.
• Collaborate with safety engineers: Collaborate with safety engineers to conduct risk assessments and develop safety-critical software components.

• Key Skills:
• Strong programming skills: Strong C, C++ programming skills or strong rapid prototyping skills in Enterprise Architect for Modeling, Experience in Doors.
• Good understanding of fundamental computer vision algorithms: Good understanding of fundamental computer vision algorithms and approaches.
• Excellent English language communication skills: Excellent English language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of innovation and motivation: High level of innovation and motivation.
• Excellent research experience: Excellent research experience.
• Experience with automotive software standards: Experience with automotive software standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, Ethernet.
• Experience in QNX/Safertos : Experience in QNX/Safertos ,freeRTOS.
