Job Opportunity:

A high-caliber software development leader with experience in leading engineering teams is required. The ideal candidate will have managed senior & junior engineers to ensure product features & releases are delivered on time with the highest levels of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features by implementing agile methodologies and utilizing scrum frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches, maintain platform uptime, and manage technical debt.
  • Support product management teams in defining product strategies and achieving product visions.
  • Participate in backlog refinement and assist product management teams with user story prioritization.
  • Contribute to sprint planning along with product teams and technical leads to define sprint scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop, deploy, and improve sdlc processes in coordination with product and qa teams.
  • Ensure all user stories are estimated, software designs created, and sprint dependencies met before sprints begin to ensure smooth execution.
  • Assign tasks to team members and monitor sprint progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure teams conduct unit testing and peer code reviews.
  • Provide regular updates on sprint progress.
  • Identify bottlenecks to sprint schedules and address them in a timely manner.
  • Support production support teams in addressing production issues and meeting sla requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical architects to develop and deploy platform architecture aligned with product visions.
  • Deploy and institutionalize ai-assisted coding tools and guidelines for use.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team by hiring, onboarding, coaching, and upskilling team members.
  • Define goals and objectives and conduct performance reviews for the team.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in software product/platform development.
  • Proficiency in at least one of go, python, or java with prior experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing or implementing ai solutions within live projects is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in using ai tools for coding, code refactoring, unit testing, automated testing, and documentation is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect scalable, secure, customer-focused solutions.
  • Experience with performance optimization and security frameworks.
  • Excellent grasp of software engineering processes, devops, and experience with agile and scrum practices.
  • Familiarity with tools like git, maven, jenkins, etc.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Positive, solution-oriented attitude with strong people management skills.
  • Experience in product-based companies with a strong understanding of the product lifecycle and strategy is mandatory.
  • Proven delivery capabilities in high-volume saas platforms.
  • A background in startups or high-growth scaling environments is essential, along with the ability to adapt in dynamic settings.
