**Job Title:** Technical Project Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee technical aspects across all stages of the software development lifecycle.

  1. Provide architectural oversight, conduct code/design reviews, and enforce quality assurance.
  2. Engage with stakeholders to align technical solutions with regulatory and business requirements in the capital markets domain.
  3. Guide teams in the development and support of high-availability, secure financial applications.
  4. Ensure smooth DevOps processes and manage L3 production support.

**Technical Delivery:**

  1. Lead architecture, design, and development of web-based enterprise applications in the capital markets domain using Java (JSP, Struts, EJB).
  2. Review and approve designs, technical specifications, and architecture artifacts.
  3. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, design patterns, and maintainability.
  4. Drive event-driven architecture implementation for real-time systems.
  5. Integrate and deploy on IBM WAS, Apache, Tomcat, and Windows environments.
  6. Implement messaging and asynchronous communication via IBM MQ.
  7. Optimize SQL queries and data access on IBM DB2.

**Application Development & Maintenance:**

  1. Drive development using JSP, Struts, EJB, and event-driven architecture.
  2. Oversee integration and deployment on IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), Tomcat, Apache.
  3. Implement messaging and event processing using IBM MQ.
  4. Optimize backend operations with IBM DB2 and complex SQL queries.
  5. Ensure platform scalability, availability, security, and compliance with industry regulations.

**Platform Management:**

  1. Manage core modules such as:
  2. Investor and Broker eServices Platforms
  3. Electronic Contract Note (ECN) Management
  4. Securities Settlements and Depository Applications
  5. Corporate Actions

**DevOps and QA:**

  1. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  2. Anchor the QA team dedicated for the specific set of applications for test strategy, QA reviews, and quality compliance.
  3. Manage L3 support, bug fixing, and performance optimization.

**Stakeholder Collaboration:**

  1. Work with Depositories, MIIs, Brokers, Banks, and other regulated entities.
  2. Translate business requirements into scalable and secure solutions.

**Governance and Reviews:**

  1. Conduct design and code reviews.
  2. Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
