Day-to-day activities include:

  • Mentoring, motivating, and molding a high-performing team to deliver exceptional enterprise products.
  • Collaborating with Product Management, User Experience, and engineering teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain highly available SaaS offerings.
  • Participating in software design meetings to ensure long-term maintainability and extensibility of code.
  • Code reviews and ensuring the highest level of quality in the code and products created.
  • Driving continuous improvement in the software development life cycle.
  • Providing feedback and working with engineers on their professional development.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and contributing to a positive team environment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience shipping high-quality products in a SaaS environment.
  • Excellent design and programming skills, particularly in enterprise server solutions using JavaScript and ReactJS.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies is beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of Web Services technologies.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ReactJS, and ExpressJS.
  • Thorough understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and commercial product development practices in complex enterprise/cloud solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of networking.
  • Experience with Open Source packages for common capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Hard-working attitude and effective teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, having the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies.
  • Passion for Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing.
  • Collaborative approach and self-motivation.
  • Experience with test frameworks and tooling.
