About Our Job:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.

You will also develop and maintain configuration management using Chef, Ansible, and Ruby. Additionally, you will automate CI/CD pipelines and integrations using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Chef and Ruby for configuration management, proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture, expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, and solid understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline integrations.

Other responsibilities include scripting experience with Python, experience with Ansible for automation and orchestration, proficiency in Docker for containerization, familiarity with Payments systems and PCI DSS compliance requirements, and proven experience in application migration to cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
  • Develop and maintain configuration management using Chef, Ansible, and Ruby.
  • Automate CI/CD pipelines and integrations using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.
  • Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable deployments.
  • Develop scripts and automation tools using Python to streamline operations and support self-service capabilities.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and manage container lifecycle.
  • Support application migration to cloud environments, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other regulatory standards in the payments domain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Chef and Ruby for configuration management.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Solid understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
  • Scripting experience with Python.
  • Experience with Ansible for automation and orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Docker for containerization.
  • Familiarity with Payments systems and PCI DSS compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in application migration to cloud platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
