Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Academic Publishing sales efforts in the India territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, including universities, colleges, and research institutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide market insights and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies and business decisions.
  • Manage sales budgets and collections, ensuring timely payment and minimizing bad debt.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Academic Publishing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of sales success, with a strong understanding of the Indian academic market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
