Cloud Platform Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud platforms. You will be part of a collaborative team working closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to deliver efficient applications and services.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage cloud-based compute offerings based on industry best practices.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Support application deployment patterns including microservices, APIs, and serverless architectures.
  • Enable containerized workloads using Kubernetes and container orchestration tools.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using cloud-native tools.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Manage cost optimization and resource governance policies.
  • Integrate security best practices including identity management, access control, and network security controls.
  • Partner with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver platform capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot issues across cloud environments and provide L2/L3 support.
Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Solid skills in Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with cloud-native CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices (IAM, ACLs, firewalls).
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Ability to work in agile teams, excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Developer - Associate, Azure Developer Associate).
  • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Exposure to FinOps practices (cloud cost management & optimization).
