Senior Electronics Design Engineer Position

This position focuses on the development and creation of printed circuit boards for medical devices, diagnostic equipment, and other complex electronic systems.

  • Leading the design, development, and testing of printed circuit boards for innovative ophthalmic products and medical devices.
  • Designing and developing PCB layouts that ensure optimal performance, signal integrity, and power distribution using industry-standard tools like Altium Designer, Cadence, or KiCad.
  • Selecting suitable electronic components based on the design requirements and ensuring compatibility with regulatory and product specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop PCBs for complex electronic systems, including medical devices and diagnostic equipment.
  2. Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts to ensure optimal performance and signal integrity.
  3. Perform thorough analysis to guarantee proper signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and power integrity in PCB designs.
  4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate PCB designs into complete product systems and ensure full system functionality and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Specialized training or certifications in PCB design is highly desirable.
  • A minimum 3-5 years of experience in PCB design and development, with a strong understanding of PCB design principles and hands-on experience in designing for complex electronic systems.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in PCB design tools like Altium Designer, Cadence, KiCad, or similar software.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and electrical simulation.
  • Experience with high-speed PCB design, signal integrity, EMC/EMI, and power distribution.
