Print Production Manager

The Print Production Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing client projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective project management. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Project Management: Manage client expectations, adhere to established processes and policies to deliver high-quality results on time.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert advice to minimize costs, optimize print quality, and ensure consistency across prints.
  • Collaboration: Partner with artwork studios and printers to drive quality prints and maintain consistency.
  • Design Phase Support: Extend support during design phase through artwork process, review, and identify potential risks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Lead conversations with stakeholders during color assessment and provide expertise as needed.
  • Project Timeline Management: Track project timelines to meet deadlines, utilizing strong project management skills.
  • Color Standards Storage and Logistics: Manage color standards storage and support courier arrangements with logistics companies.
  • Challenge Resolution: Take initiative and be proactive in resolving challenges and fostering good relationships with stakeholders.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of progressive print production experience or equivalent education combination.
  • Experience in client-facing roles and prior experience in project/account management.
  • Familiarity with color management or separation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of various print methods (Offset, Flexo, or Gravure).
  • Excellent analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, external clients, or vendors.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to influence peers and senior management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to details, deadlines, and reporting.
  • Occasional travel required (Local/International).
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
