Job Overview

The position of ASIC Test Engineer is responsible for designing and developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex digital circuits.

This role requires a strong background in digital circuit design, testing, and validation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex digital circuits.
  • Develop and implement ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation) techniques to improve test coverage.
  • Perform SERDES (CPRI, PCIE) testing, including internal and external loopback, IO DC parametrics tests, and register/PLL lock checks.
  • Implement boundary scan testing using BSDL (Boundary Scan Description Language) and IEEE1149.1 & IEEE1149.6 standards.
  • Develop and maintain process monitors using ProteanTec or Synopsys tools.
  • Conduct high voltage stress testing, very low voltage (VLV) testing, and IO parametric tests.
  • Perform top level verification (TLV) functional patterns, processor performance patterns, and temperature sensor characterization.
  • Support production test and yield ramp optimization, failure analysis, and debug routines.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC test engineering.
  • A strong background in digital circuit design, testing, and validation.
  • Proficiency in ATPG, SERDES, boundary scan, and process monitor development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
