Job Overview

This position plays a key role in the development of aerospace electronics products and printed circuit cards. The individual will be an active member of an electronics design team, working closely with project leaders to manage requirements, design electronic circuits, analyze, implement, and test these products.

The successful candidate will have expertise in electronics component selection, analog and digital circuit design, and schematic entry. They will also be responsible for circuit analysis for tolerance, power, thermal, and worst-case scenarios. In addition, they will work with layout engineers to implement layouts and ensure that boards are brought up and tested correctly.

Other responsibilities include environmental testing, ensuring process and quality compliance, supporting technical decisions during product hardware development, participating in critical high-level and low-level design reviews, analyzing and identifying problem root causes, developing alternative solutions, and exercising judgment in selecting methods and techniques within related fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics degree holder with 7-8 years of experience

Required skills include good understanding of electronics hardware involving digital and microprocessor circuits fundamentals, power and EMI circuits. Additionally, the candidate should have practical experience in analysis and troubleshooting of these circuits, ability to simplify them, explain underlying concepts clearly, provide technical guidance, leadership at project context, self-motivation, focus on results, sense of urgency, and good written and verbal presentation and communication skills.

Desirable skills include design experience for complying EMI/EMC in power electronics applications, exposure with RF conducted and radiated emissions/susceptibility testing, good understanding of grounding and shielding techniques, thorough knowledge of board design, EMI filter design, lightning analysis, component selection, mentorship of schematic and layout tools, innovative thinking, good orientation to HW systems, procedures, and process frameworks (CMMi, AS9100C, Six-Sigma, HW Processes), and experience in working in matrix org structures.
