Senior Portfolio Manager

This is a strategic role that oversees and manages the Service Portfolio, ensuring it remains a single source of truth for Products, Solutions and Services provided to customers and staff across all business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To define, produce and maintain a comprehensive Service Portfolio detailing technical and business services, products integrated with the Configuration Management Database to provide a view of their underlying technology.
  • To ensure full accountability for the Service Portfolio being the single source of truth for the Products, Solutions and Services provided to customers and staff across all business units.
  • To provide strategic input into the Bi-annual Service Strategy Forum, analysing utilisation of and future demand for services contained within the Portfolio to identify proposed additions, amendments or retirements.
  • To support SLA, OLA and Under-pinning Contract, UC development, negotiations and baselining.
  • To shape and lead portfolio initiatives on data quality and other tool enhancements working in collaboration with the Service Strategy Lead and wider senior stakeholders.
  • To ensure Service Portfolio related issues are identified, investigated and resolved.
  • To work with peer group and senior managers to ensure Service Portfolio Management principles are applied and enforced across all key interfacing functions.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in senior roles within Service Management.
  • Experience of working across multiple teams.
  • Experience of defining and delivering transformational change.
  • Experience of working within an ITIL Framework.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical teams and all band levels.
  • Ability to influence at a peer level.
