Job Title: Strategic Risk Modeling Leader

Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to lead the development and implementation of risk models for wholesale banking. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making processes and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Wholesale Rating Models, ensuring best-in-class practices and governance.
  • Provide thought leadership in model development and validation, staying up-to-date with latest regulatory updates and industry trends.
  • Develop and implement end-to-end processes for model development, validation, and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement rating models, including Corporate/Wholesale Rating Models.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong foundation in Statistics and Mathematics, with hands-on experience in developing and validating Wholesale Rating Models.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python, with expertise in data analysis and visualization.
  • Hold a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of progressive risk management experience within banking, with a deep understanding of risk management concepts and methodologies.
