About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Credit Analyst team in India, focusing on underwriting deals for the US market.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Credit Committee in New York to ensure seamless credit function execution. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and train the Credit Analyst team to ensure high-quality underwriting decisions, adhering to agency, investor, and company guidelines.
  • Oversee daily underwriting pipeline and queues to guarantee timely movement, balanced workloads, and efficient resource allocation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated or complex underwriting scenarios, providing guidance and resolving issues to support smooth loan flow.
  • Support and mentor underwriters by offering day-to-day guidance, fostering development, and monitoring team performance.
  • Ideate and execute process enhancements in the credit function to improve analysis quality and turnaround times.
  • Interact with clients and other stakeholders to gather feedback and mentor the team accordingly.
  • Present hand-selected deals to investment committee for final approval.
