The role of a Data Scientist is crucial in building intelligent solutions that drive business impact.

About the Team

We are a team of data science experts who work across various domains such as lending, collections, KYC, and UPI growth. We apply advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques to solve high-impact challenges. Our work involves diverse data types including text, image, and tabular data. We collaborate closely with cross-functional teams like product, business, engineering, and others to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive the delivery of high-impact data science initiatives from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes.
  2. Engage stakeholders across product, engineering, business, and executive teams to shape problem definitions and champion data-driven decision making.
  3. Demonstrate expertise in machine learning and deep learning concepts, setting technical direction and solving complex problems.
  4. Architect and deliver solutions across diverse data types leveraging cutting-edge models and best practices to drive business value at scale.
  5. Experiment with emerging algorithms and technologies to foster innovation and stay ahead of industry trends.
  6. Establish best practices for model validation, monitoring, performance tracking, and risk management in production environments.
  7. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a quantitative field, with a demonstrated research mindset and 5+ years of experience.
  • Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques, underlying mathematics, and hands-on experience with key ML frameworks.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and inference techniques, with expertise in hypothesis testing, simulations, and optimization methodologies.
  • Proven experience working with distributed computing platforms for large-scale data processing and model training.
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python or similar languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale machine learning projects end to end.
  • Proven track record of delivering high business impact through data science solutions.
  • Experience leading projects with multiple team members and/or mentoring junior colleagues is preferred.
