Job Title:

Financial Operations Lead

Job Description:

The Financial Operations Lead will provide strategic and analytical support to the finance team, with expertise in capital investment and operating expenses in the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing large-scale investments to determine ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback periods.
  • Developing and tracking capital expenditure budgets to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Measuring actual project performance versus forecasts and identifying lessons learned.
  • Partnering with operations, engineering, and strategy teams to vet capital initiatives.
  • Comparing actual financial performance vs. budgets/forecasts and explaining deviations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in finance and planning.
  • 1+ year of experience working in a business.
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in commerce/business administration/economics with high-level finance and accounting experience.
  • CA/ICWAI/MBA/CPA finance preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of financial systems (SAP, MS Office, and other financial reporting systems).
  • Strong understanding of business processes related to supply chain.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience of both management reporting and planning processes.
  • Experience working with the FMCG sector.
  • Experience in leading process excellence and performance improvement.
