Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in Python scripting to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining automation tools aligned with existing codebases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality Python scripts and automation tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Use cutting-edge AI tools to develop innovative solutions that meet quality, performance, and functionality requirements.
  • Design and implement unit and integration tests using frameworks like pytest or unit test, ensuring high test coverage and meaningful assertions.
  • Collaborate with the development team to optimize existing scripts for performance, maintainability, and readability.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support ongoing improvement of development practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of core experience in Automation using Python/MATLAB/C-coding for Automotive SW development.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, clean coding practices, and modern Python features.
  • Experience with automotive SW development tools such as Simulink, Jira, Targetlink, Canape, ECUTest.
  • Proficiency in Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • High analytical and conceptual skills, ability to work independently, and good presentation skills.
