Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize expertise in Schellman Methodology to achieve outstanding results.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues and peers.
  • Obtain relevant certifications (ISO LA, CISA, CISSP, AWS CCP) to enhance professional development.
  • Successfully manage projects from start to completion.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Schellman's service lines and their leaders.
  • Apply knowledge of SOC 1 GITCs and Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy SOC 2 criteria to drive business growth.
  • Analyze Principal Service Commitments and System Requirements to inform project scope.
  • Understand the four report opinion outcomes and develop skills to draft modified opinions.
  • Identify potential exceptions that may impact project outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management, technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in information security auditing, assessment, consulting, or compliance, with a focus on ITGC or SOC controls.
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with clients, with occasional travel required.
  • Maintenance or pursuit of relevant certifications, such as CPA, CCSK, or CISA.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of Schellman's services, methodology, and relevant professional standards.
  • Requisite knowledge of applicable technology and security domains.
  • High level of attention to detail and quality of work product.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
