The role of an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor involves conducting audits to ensure that clients adhere to international security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, lead, and conduct ISO 27001 certification and surveillance audits for clients.
- Evaluate Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies, procedures, and controls against ISO 27001 requirements.
- Identify gaps, risks, and non-conformities, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports with clear findings and improvement recommendations.
- Assist clients in maintaining compliance and continual improvement of ISMS.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Provide training and awareness sessions on ISO 27001 requirements when required.
- Stay updated with evolving information security standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity.
- Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (mandatory).
- 3-5 years of experience in conducting ISO 27001 audits and assessments.
- Strong knowledge of information security risk management, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of ISMS documentation, implementation, and continual improvement.
- Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
