Information Security Director

You will be responsible for overseeing regional teams to execute information security programs and processes. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of a cybersecurity team based in India.
Key Responsibilities- Support Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with global information security leadership and functional peers to maintain and implement an information security strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure adequate resourcing and support for cybersecurity team operations and initiatives.
- Provide support for security risk assessment and treatment activities as well as security operations.
- Support security governance and reporting activities.
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a cybersecurity team.
- Maintain alignment and operational consistency between global information security teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across cybersecurity teams.
- Ensure effective coordination and communication between cybersecurity teams.
- Application & Cloud Security:
- Provide oversight for adoption of security best practices in software development and cloud security.
- Security Operations:
- Provide technical oversight for the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls for a SaaS platform and corporate computing resources.
- Provide technical support for 24/7 security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, and threat intelligence capabilities.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Provide oversight for activities to achieve and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to SaaS operations.
- Provide oversight for third-party vendor risk assessment and risk treatment activities.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Security Assurance:
- Provide oversight for customer assurance support activities related to security.
- Innovation:
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats, technologies, and compliance frameworks.
- Foster development of innovative security processes and solutions to enhance security posture.
- Assess and improve the effectiveness of cybersecurity teams and respective security programs.
